If you ignore football I'd say we're generally pretty open and tolerant compared to most of the UK. Even the racism and Islamophobia and all that shit is at worst just the same as elsewhere if not in many cases better. All that sectarian football pish is the only thing really dragging us down but it feels like we'll never be done with that nonsense sadly.
