| Comment | Weather can be coped with but very few people will be happy doing it daily during the periods of the year with shit weather (so most of it). You're obviously a big cycling fan but you have to already be aware then most people don't share your enthusiasm. And the infrastructure if you're not on lucky routes is pish. It's doable but compare to places with an actual cycling infrastructure and it's night and day. Even places where some complain about their cycling infrastructure (like Berlin, I live there right now) is miles ahead and while that's obviously a city on another scale you can just look to smaller places in the Netherlands to see what can be done (admittedly they're bike daft which makes it easier too) |
