| Comment | I am just moving out of the one bed flat in a tenement building in Battlefield.
The rent was really low at 450 (it was a bargain, but to be friank, it was not the most beautiful flat either, and we've rented it unfurnished). The flat just across the close, much nicer and furnished was 590.
Council tax was something like 139 per month, but you only pay it for 10 months per year.
The bills (gas and electricity) were about 70 per month on Shell energy (about 90 before on Scottish Power). There were two of us, my partner likes to have it cosy, and I like my bubble bath, so we weren't exactly saving gas... ;-) |
