Thanks everyone for the replies!! Have decided to go with Mobility Equipment Hire Direct which I think will be fine. I think that the bad reviews were mostly from people using the company for accessible holidays abroad. Equipment hire services seems quite sound and the staff have been very helpful over the phone.
