Hey, until recently I lived in Madrid :D

I'm from Glasgow (and have now moved back there) so I'm very bias haha.

Glasgow is a great city, the night life is second to none. Housing is more afordable than Edinburgh (at least it was the last I looked). There is something for everyone.

Although we are the biggest city in Scotland I personally don't think it has that big city vibe.

Being a native Spanish speaker I'm sure you could find half decent jobs for that skill alone.

I feel Glasgow is also very welcoming to non-nationals, especially recently with our yearning to remain European.

I know you don't want a huge multicultural city, we kinda are but you'd be hard pressed to go a day without hearing broad Glaswegian everywhere you go. The upside is, you can find plenty of facebook groups should want to find a Spanish (or any other nationality for that matter) group.

There are downsides to glasgow imo. Some areas can be quite rough, growing up in the east end I've seen some sights first hand but overall I'd say we are very friendly.

Sorry I can't realy comment on the other places.
