If you want a bar with a similar vibe to The Solid but with some more modern tunes, then maybe Rufus T Firefly. It's just up the hill from the Solid, has comfy seats, good food, a function room and a roof terrace (either enjoy the rare sun or go up for a smoke/vape). The only thing I don't like about it is that it's cash only.
