| Comment | I was there last night. Shockingly bad.
It went like this:
Arrived for our 5:30pm time slot. And queued in the rain for 45 minutes then another 20 minutes queue inside the door. This can probably be blamed on people turning up at the wrong time though.
Then inside all that happens is the lights are off and there are Christmassy spot lights everywhere as you walk around the art gallery in the dark following arrows in long queues wondering if this is it or if there’s something cool to see somewhere at the end or something. There wasn’t. That was it! A dark slow walk, without a tour guide, and a couple of staff dressed up and a stupid video about elves or something going up in to space from a rocket in glen coe. Sound was too bad to make out the story in the video but that seemed to be it. Only other thing was a waste chute - the type that builders throw their rubble down in to a skip - that you could post a letter to Santa in to. Half hour queue for the pleasure of that one.
Hadn’t been there since school so at least was hoping to see some of the exhibits but it was too dark to see anything. I think the people that put it on must be at it. |
