| Comment | Westminster elections frankly cost a fucking fortune. £500 deposits (most countries don't even have these) and leaflet costs alone are bad enough, but combine that with admin time to handle expense reports and general paperwork, it's just not worth it in a FPTP election. So, generally it's better to have less target seats and your activists can just focus on those.
Hopefully in 2021 they'll be a Green standing in every Glasgow seat. |
