Comment | Nope! You have a legal right to join a union. Your employer can have a recognition agreement with your union, whereby they’ll negotiate terms, pay rises etc. This can be done voluntarily or is mandatory if (I think) 50% or more of the employees are members though I think there’s a minimum number of employees needed for that to apply. The union can tell you better than I can. Employers lie about this stuff, you have more rights than you realise! |
