To be fair that’s the case for most U.K. political parties (the big ones at least). FPTP basically means that the big political parties are essentially pre election coalitions. For example with the SNP you have fairly leftist MPs such as Mhairi Black and fairly right leaning figures such as John Swinney. Same with Labour with the “Blairites” and the far left such as McDonnel. |
