| Comment | Parkhead, albeit by all account significantly better than it used to be, is still a pretty deprived area. I haven't heard much about burglaries in a while, but I know it used to be not amazing for it.
If you're any sort of worried about it, 5 minutes up the road on the bus will get you a flat in Tollcross as well. Area's been fine all the time I've been living here, and the flats aren't expensive either. Access to the Forge is easy, Tollcross Park is lovely, 3 buses that'll take you into town plus a train station that's a 15 minute walk away, as well as a pretty good LIDL in the area. |
