| Comment | Why if we cost so much do the UK government want to hang on? We are a cash cow for Westminster; a place to shove nuclear weapons, test out risky policies (poll tax) and a place to generate wealth through oil, tourism, agriculture etc. . We are a country that is more than able to survive on our own and use our wealth of natural resources for good and create a fairer society.
This is absolutely relevant and everybody should know this. It has been said for years that if we are such a burden why do they want to hang onto us. The bottom line is that Scotland is keeping the UK going and those in power know that they need us but perpetuate the myth that we are a bunch of scrounging bastards.
Time to get out of this toxic union and let them sink while Scotland thrives.
