But why on the 1st if the letter shows you several dates? When it was £110 this month they said that was because I hadn't paid the £90 bill before the 9th last month. What if people can't get the money till the end of the month? So is my council tax going up and up just because I don't pay on the 1st and it's later in the month?

And what else annoys me is when it resets in March, they can't tell me what it will be every month so will I be £90 per month or £50 like the people I work with? And then obviously I'm trying to work full time anyway so it might not even matter much, every job I go for wants full availability including weekends, I can't do 2 or 3 jobs and work everybody at the weekend, I'm trying night shift but no one ever gets back to me so I'm wanting full time anyway but it's just stressful at this time of year and the calculator says £80 a month for council tax and water and waste. If I'm still in this position come March and I'm still doing 12 or 16 hours a week, am I still gonna be paying this kind of money or is it going to drop down substantially?

Every so often I do extra shifts if asked so some weeks I have done 20 hours, but not for a while now and everything stayed the same so now I'm thinking.....could I get away with working 20 hours a week and still have the rent covered by them because they do it monthly so an extra shift would have looked like 17 hours a week to them. If I could do that then obviously that would be a massive help to paying this council tax every month.

I was told to spread the amount over 12 months rather than 10 and they said the most they could do was March so it's 11 months but starting then they would be able to split it all across 12 months but what you're saying to me now makes me think is this going to just keep carrying on and dragging on into April? Even though I'm only getting that extra month will they give me a final bill that will 100% clear the year so that I start fresh with everyone else? Or is that 4 week arrears period along with me not able to pay on the 1st of the month just going to keep catching up with me every month?
