Cycling infrastructure in the UK is, by and large, totally inadequate outside London. And even in London it's a part-baked monstrosity.

Belt it down Kilmarnock Road, Pollokshaws Road, Eglinton Street. It's what I do. You could nick through Queens Park an use the segregated route down Vicky Road it you want to head more towards the Merchant City. It helps not to ride in the gutter as that only encourages them to try and squeeze past, keep out and force the cagers to go around you.

TBH the FirstBus drivers aren't that bad, it's the *wankers* in BMWs etc and taxi drivers who just *have* to get in front, only to be stopped at lights. Oh, and then drive into the advanced stopped area. *Always* get in front of those utter cock-wombles, and *always* take off slowly. Oh, and see red lights? The apply to us as well. Do be *that* person who sails through (there are a few which have dedicated cycle lights, so sometimes you can pass on red).

Use [Fix My Street](https://www.fixmystreet.com/) to report *every* pothole, worn road marking etc etc. GCC do actually listen sometimes, it's quite amazing.

Be safe, be seen.
