Just make sure you research the breed you go for thoroughly - its’ exercise requirements, health issues, sociability, trainability, can it be left alone etc. - for example a beagle will need 2+ hours of exercise daily with scent/tracking work.
Sadly there’s an awful lot of people out there that choose a breed based solely on its’ appearance and also make no attempt to train it. |
