The guy who made the original comment is down the Clydeside everyday, and seen the rings weren't in the water before the Hydro gigs. Nothing tenuous about it.
It's no exclusive to Gerry Cinnamon fans though, but it is more prevalent when gigs are on that these kind of wee dicks are likely to attend.
