| Comment | I remember being taken there in the 90s as a wee kid. My step-da was a drug dealer and would leave me at his friends cafe while he did his business. It was inside the bit thats now a fancy restaurant. Always got plied with ice cream sundaes and cheeseburgers for free.
There was a wee shop in the same building that sold counterfeit games and I was always intrigued but never bought stuff.
I also remember a donut stall, that I always wanted to get stuff from but never could.
Used to be so busy but nowadays its a total ghost town. Choking with people, stall sellers belting out prices, haggling, rough types laughing like fuck as they shared a bottle on the pavement edge, and the inevitable bolt when the cops showed up. |
