That is so no true. I work at one of the chains now. What they do most of the time they pick a person personally and then they make you apply online. Obviously I'm not saying its like that with every chain but most of the restaurants (not sure about coffee shops etc) do that. From my personal experience I got a call back from 3 chain restaurants after going there personally in one day when I literally got none from the application online itself. And it was the same with every part time job I have had during my studies. |
