| Comment | I think you'll probably find an engineering job pretty quickly. My partner was working as a process engineer within a month of moving to the UK.
The hiring process is generally slower and salaries are lower than in the US (I don't know how Canada compares), but engineers are highly in demand and being able to start immediately is a huge bonus, as people are often required to give 30-90 days notice at their current jobs. Good luck! |
