There are tons of shared flats available on Gumtree (UK version of Kijiji) and other sites.
Are you coming for work or study? If study, it's better to share with other students, as you won't pay council tax. Non-students need to pay council tax, a household tax that pays for local services.
Wrt friends, what are your hobvies/interests? It's pretty easy to meet people based on similar interests, and I say this as a socially incompetent weirdo. |
