Its not a smart meter.
I did ask if they could replace the broken meter with a smart pay as you go meter, however i was told they would need to attend to put a normal meter in first, then come back to install a smart meter.
Im worried that top-ups ive put onto the key will be gone when they do replace the meter (i have receipts but some of them are so old the thermal ink has faded away)


im guessing then they have no idea how much ive used, and with it being a PAYG meter, will they add a massive debt to it when its fixed, or just continue as normal?


The bill is in my name now, the landlord had given us the wrong company to contact (he said we were with SSE) they had no record of us, turns out after lots of calls to SP networks, that we are Scottish Power. It was then that i changed it into my name.


Im half tempted to say it fixed itself and only broke again last week.
