If a deep fried pizza is too greasy it's been done wrong. It should be crispy on the outside and dry on the inside. One of the best deep fried pizzas comes from Vito's in Stepford, not greasy at all.
Never found a place in Glasgow doing a deep fried pizza the traditional Italian way though (toppings added after frying). Really want to try it as it's supposed to fucking amazing.
