Perhaps digging up parks to take their flowers is a little over the top, not sure how it is legally.

Many of our parks have now swapped over to wild flowers to help restore natural wildlife habitats.

A better option might be to take cuttings from the healthiest looking plants.

Most plants can be chucked into a glass of water and will sprout roots within a few weeks.

For best results you should leave the leafey part in some sunlight and wrap the glass in paper or something to shield the rootting part from the light.

Many roots can be dammaged/stressed by direct light
