| Comment | It's a referendum, not an election, and if there was no democratic mandate for another referendum then there wouldn't be one. As it stands, the SNP took the vast majority of seats at Westminster, people who voted for them know full well what their raison d'etre is, so they've every right to hold another one.
Should there only be one parliamentary election ever?
And if/when independence happens, if there's a Scottish Reunification of the Union party who gets in they'll have every right to push for their referendum too. |
