The best thing to do is just get on with being yourself. One of the wonderful things about Glasgow is, you get all sorts of people here, from the sterotypical "wee Glesga wifey" who has smoked 60 a day since she was 4, and has a voice like a foghorn, to a guy who sorta drums along to techno accompanied by battery powered cats.

You'll be many many steps away from being the most unusual person anyone else has seen or met that day, and 99% of the time, people are so engrossed in their own lives to even notice other people anyway.

If you want to change your voice (it won't change with hormones, only surgery or speech therapy) there are a lot of resources on /r/transvoice which could be useful to you. I've also heard of people getting good results from using the "Christella VoiceUp" app. And the FANTASTIC bookshop Category Is in Govanhill probably has a book or two that would help, or can point you to other resources
