Yeah you've basically covered all the regurgitated boomerisms. Seriously this cynicism is ridiculous. Not everyone who does something they think is right is "virtue signalling". Just because you're a walking episode of South Park and have no principles doesn't mean everyone else is the same.
No one is pretending they're part of the struggle. They're showing solidarity. Citizens pressuring governments through social movements has had a tremendous effect on policy throughout history and if you think it hasn't you're in absolute denial. |
