| Comment | I learnt and passed in an automatic after giving manual a good go. I used Mark from Caledonian - he is amazing. He has a wee automatic Smart car and his methods of teaching use reflection and a little self-teaching outside lessons.
He's a little more expensive than most but I found all my lessons very fulfilling and I passed with him after 3 months (having 8 months of lessons in a manual prior).
Don't let people detract you from automatic lessons if that's what you want. Automatics now account for 30% of sales and, as someone who drives for a living, you can always get an automatic hire car if you need it. |
