| Comment | Everyone at my office got sent home bar me. I was the only one daft enough to live within walking distance so I told everyone else to get away home before the trains were cancelled, and I'd cover for them. Eventually the powers that be acknowledged my sacrifice and let me go home as well, and we were out for three days.
They tried asking me to come back in the next day "since you can walk it" but I just said the paths were too icy and then put my phone on silent and sat in my pjs all day. |
