| Comment | Spent the last 6 years darting between these 3 each weekend. I'd say Subby is the place to see if you're from out of town and haven't been before. Berkeley is cool also but save it for another trip if you can only do one or the other.
As someone else suggested, I'd say Max's bar (upstairs from la cheetah) is the best bar to pre drink in for Subby atmosphere-wise or there's the Crystal Palace spoons right beside subby if price is your main concern.
You're unlucky to be coming now, a lot of the good afters have shut in the past couple of years but if you are looking for one, guys usually come by the subby smoking area close to close to pass out the cards if there is anything happening.
