Hey! This isn't quite the same but I had the same situation with ADHD last year (22 Female). I've never quite 'with it' and despite being bubbly and outgoing, and completing two degrees realised I totally lacked certain skills and found a lot of things overwhelming. After going to two doctors both dismissed me due to my ability to complete uni, I asked for a different doctor and next thing I was diagnosed and medicated.

My advice is be persistent and stand up for yourself. From what I've gathered, women are even less likely to get diagnosed neurodiverse (despite being no less likely to be Autistic/ADHD) due to masking capabilities, so be firm :-)
