To know how to cook is a basic life skill, so good for you that you take this initiative.
Cooking is very simple, doesn't take a lot of time, and it can be learned very quickly. Many dishes are as simple as boiling water.
You need boiling water to cook pasta, rice and vegetables, and also boiled eggs. So that's a great starting point. Other cooking methods that are essential are frying, and cooking with an oven (or a microwave) so I recommend you look for YouTube video on these topics, or you may even ask r/cookingforbeginners

As other have suggested in this thread maybe a couple of lessons at a cooking course would help a lot.
