Maryhill always was just the top bit near the park and train station. Officially, what people call Maryhill is mostly other areas. These days people refer to Ruchill, Botany, parts of Kelvindale, Kelvinside, Gilsochhill, North Kelvinside, North Woodside and even Firhill as all being Maryhill. It's not though. Maryhill is the parcel nestled between Dawsholm, Acre and Summerton.
