Is it a good idea? People continually moan and quite rightly about how little we as a city utilise the river but we're happy for another identikit retail park to get flung up when there is one right across the river?

And also this 'lifestyle outlet' pish, basically just another gaff with terrible shops like River Island, Next, Zara and mediocre, overpriced restaurants like Chiquitos, Frankie & Benny's and Hungry Horse. Is that really what we want for riverside developments?

I see the City Centre constantly getting berated in here, but at least it offers genuine choice when it comes to shopping and eating.
