I've lived in Dennistoun/Haghill for a few year. Never had trouble here. I'd expect 'normal' rent for a 1 bed to be around 400-600 and a 2 bed 550-750.
You can find cheaper if you wait/keep looking and there is plenty more places that cost more. I didnt bother increasing my maximum more than that on the rightmove filters though.
