| Comment | Couldn't give a fuck about major chains, independent retailers are the ones worth going to and Glasgow has them over Edinburgh in spades as they can't afford the rent and rates in the capital city. Identikit malls are depressing, and I do my utmost to avoid them.
That said, in answer to your question, I think these are built more to cater for international tourists - and there's not much Glasgow can do to cater to them, particularly with the cuts the council is and will be implementing. |
