Comment | Allegedly NLC didn't want it, none of the councils that strathclyde regional council was split into did. It needed a massive chunk of investment according to a relative who left NLC council a few years back.
NLC like to run things they don't want into the ground, beyond the point of redemption, and then use that as an excuse for scrapping it. The state of some of the parks is terrible, but the land would fetch a pretty penny for housing... |
