Lots of positive vibes being shared here which is great. Along the same lines, I've gone through it a couple of times. Make sure you sign on and get some income going. Prepare yourself for rejection and try not to let it get you down. Set a target of 5-10 quality applications per day... not just sending out 'Quick Apply' on LinkedIn but actively researching companies and writing cover letters. For me, the best way was through a recruiter but YMMV. I found over a few months online applications were the worst response rate, and actually reaching out over email worked well.

Also, have a good story about why this last gig ended because you'll be asked and it's better not approaching it like a sob-story but a 'lessons learned' type thing.
