Certain laptops can be hard to repair and a mobo replacement basically means ripping the while thing apart. That take time. Then there's s getting the mobo, might be tricky. Finally reassembly. More time.
You could be getting close to the cost of the laptop. You may well be cheaper and faster to buy a replacement and then pull the data off the old drive.
Or buy a broken model off eBay and do the mobo swap yourself.
That assumes the mobo is even the issue. |
