The city centre is divey AF round many a corner. You can get a legal carry torch/flashlight with teeth on the front for breaking glass that is probably the best defensive object you can carry legally. Dont go about shouting that you're 17 and alone, keep yer wits aboot ye and walk around like you know the place better than home.
