Look at the new SIMD data. Govanhill really isn't the hellohole you are making it out to be. Sure it is still a little rough but the schools there are middle of the pack in the country and better than places like Shawlands. I am guessing you have been avoiding Govanhill for the last 20 years or so so you don't really know that much about it. I would be entriely comfortable "letting" my daughter live there. the crime stats from the area are not any worse than most the rest of Glasgow. |
