| Comment | Strathclyde Union is moving? Must be over 10 years since I’ve been in there but that’s made me pretty sad for some reason.

In response to OP, I went to Glasgow to do Civils. Obviously I can’t compare because i never went to Strathclyde, but Glasgow is going through a huge modernisation programme just now and I would imagine that will spread to all departments and not just the buildings that are getting redone. It’s a great Uni in my opinion with the added bonus of being regarded as a traditional Uni.
Ultimately when it come to hiring someone, all that is going to matter is the level of your qualification and whether you’re a weirdo or not at the interview. I think the days of people classing Glasgow as better than Strathclyde are predominately over. They’re at least close to being on a or.
