About dirtiness, I partially agree. The users cause the dirt, but if it’s a manageable amount then the transport should be able to clean it.

Even if it were to become a system that breaks even rather than tries to make a profit, I feel it’d be much cheaper. True, subsidies are presumably what makes public transport cheaper in Vienna, but the government there pumps far less into banks, but the people instead.
