I went to Glasgow university and lived in a few places around there until 98. It was mostly fine apart from one break in. Since then, more violence, usually from youths.
As for shawlands, I grew up in kings park and considered moving to shawlands about 5 years ago. Two reasons why I didn't, shit mobile signal and actual documented uptick in racially motivated crime.
