Depending on exactly where you are and what you want, you're not an *insane* walk from Mount Florida/Battlefield and that has some bars & restaurants. Shawlands isn't much further, nor is Strathbungo, which are more West End-y I guess. Govanhill seems to be having something of a renaissance, but we've been there before. Muirend too.
Cathkin Braes, and Linn Park are awesome.
Sorry to not mention anything closer, but I don't spend much time out Croftfoot/Castlemilk way. |
