It was hard for me moving back to Scotland from Tokyo. Both transport systems are privatised yet Japan is run efficiently, it's clean, affordable, without subsidy, and the entire country (bar Okinawa) has an integrated payment system (i.e scanning an oyster card to pay for bus in Glasgow). They have so many different rail and bus companies but they somehow managed to not make an absolute shitshow of it.

The state of things here is beyond shocking.

Sometimes else that bothers me, and some folk will think this is silly, but the ticket sizes for trains piss me off. The subway tickets in particular, why are they so fucking big?!
