I'm South west English and I work with some working class Scots, it is a different language honestly and I can't imagine how difficult it is for people outside of the uk. I love it here, you'll definitely fit in more if you don't like trump OP, there was a party when Thatcher died, I'm sure it wouldn't be any different for him.
