| Comment | Cathcart is pretty sound, good transport links with buses and trains, the only thing it maybe lacks is decent boozers (Smiddy is decent) and places to eat although it does have that Icelandic brunch place and Mount Florida, Battlefield, Shawlands, Strathbungo, Govanhill are all pretty close by and have got plenty in terms of eateries and boozers.
I'm at the Stamperland end of Linn Park, it's a really good park, plenty of wildlife, lots of decent walks, Cathcart Cemetery close by which is great and although there is always plenty of people about it's not overly busy. |
