I worked in a vets for a number of years - essentially it was a reception job but had loads of nursing duties. Was never employed as an RVN but as an Animal Nurse Assistant and started studying for real at Barony.
That was my experience of it until the more people I worked with, the more I hated the people working in that line of work and bailed.
