A lot of Scottish culture is kind of hidden away by Scots thanks to the Scottish cringe. It really sucks that we're so afraid of enjoying our culture sincerely, but its a well-discussed phenomenon and I hate it.

You'll find ceilidhs across the city though, some bars having them every weekend (one on King St does, Avant Garde I think), while some may be held as events by societies. The one I'm going to is held by Glasgow University's different international student societies, to give em something Scottish to try. Open to anyone to go, student or not.
