| Comment | Home video didn't exist when it was broadcast. Someone did record the audio from all episodes on reel-to-reel tape, but they're in a private collection.
There is a chance, given its huge popularity and the fact that things weren't expected to be repeated in those days, that an engineer at STV made kinescope recordings, ie. literally filming it with a camera pointed at TV monitor as it was being broadcast. But, people die, and their families (if they have any) just throw things away, not realisng or caring what they hoarded. Perhaps some old guy did have copies which have subsequently ended up on a skip. |
